Bev has lived in George Street, Redfern all her life; she reckons they’ll have to carry her out. Her family lived with her maternal grandparents, and when she married, her husband joined the household. The family attended the church across the road, which is now the Greek church, St Paul’s. Bev discusses mainly domestic life and duties. She was interviewed in September 1994 by Sue Rosen as part of the South Sydney Social History Project.
