The object of this Heritage Impact Statement was to assess the impact of external and internal alterations and additions to the existing single storey corner-shopfront and double storey Victorian-era former residence at 120 Glenmore Road, Paddington; which is located in the Paddington Heritage Conservation Area. The proposed works, largely motivated by the need for essential maintenance, has provided an opportunity to reinvigorate this unique cornershop site.
In the 1879 Sands Directory (for 1878), Gordon Mansfield is listed as living at Eturia; located at the end of the Glenmore Road block. This is likely the same Victorian-era double storey rendered brick and gable concrete-tile roofed, former dwelling, constructed c.1878 known as the corner store.
